Entrepreneur Isaacman has been voted in as the new administrator of the National Aeronautics and Space Administration, ending an extraordinary nomination process where Trump put his name forward, withdrew it, and then submitted his name once more.

Isaacman, an aviation enthusiast who became the first non-professional astronaut to undertake a extravehicular activity, is also the first agency head in many years to come entirely from the private sector.
