Israelis commemorate two-year remembrance of October 7th incident as Palestinian ceasefire negotiations proceed
People have gathered across the country to remember two years since the Hamas-initiated offensive on that fateful day in October 2023, as talks continued in the neighboring country over a resolution to the hostilities in the Gaza Strip.

"After we see all home once more, we can breathe again. Then we can commence rebuild," she concluded.
Outside the prime minister's home in Jerusalem, people assembled to demonstrate their backing for the loved ones of the abducted. Israel states forty-eight continue in detention in Gaza, twenty of whom are thought to be living.
Demonstrator one woman explained: "It's necessary do whatever arrangement required for the hostages to come back home. But we truly desire guarantees that we will be protected."
