Despite entering their first-ever European campaign, Crystal Palace are learning at a rapid pace. Missing star figures like striker Jean-Philippe Mateta and defender Daniel Muñoz, the Eagles left Dublin with a commanding result that all but guarantees them a place in the Conference League playoffs.
A further three points in their upcoming match against Finland's KuPS should be sufficient to secure straight entry to the last 16, especially following a previous stumble against Strasbourg.
Fringe Players Grasp the Moment
This occasion provided a platform for some of Palace's fringe players to impress. Christantus Uche, in only his second start after joining on loan from Getafe, notched the scoring with a clinical finish. Forward Eddie Nketiah contributed a second, scoring for the second consecutive succession.

The youngster was desperately unlucky later on, seeing one shot strike off both posts before being gathered on the line. Uche then missed a glaring chance, showing there is still room for development in his game.
A solitary concern for Palace was a second-half knock to Justin Devenny, who was forced off. This paved the way for 17-year-old forward Benji Casey to make his senior debut, capping an otherwise positive evening for the traveling side.
